SOVA HINTS: Abstract

Abstract is something that has no form. It is a representation of something, but is not easy to recognize.  There are many different ways that artists use abstraction.

 Picasso starts with something that is real (human forms) and distorts their parts to create his style of abstract

Kandisky uses pure geometric shapes and forms to create emotional passaionate works.



Piet Mondrian starts with  real form and gradually breaks it down to its core geometric shapes.
